Steam-a-Seam for fusing the applique IS INCLUDED in this kit! The Dark pattern calls for a background of Fairy Dust in Whisper (grey color). OUR RECOMMENDATION is to choose 4 or 5 Tula Pink solid background colors to liven up the color. We are happy to photograph those colors with the Curiouser fabric for you to audition.  BACKING FABRIC IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS KIT.
